While each of the panels had its own highlights, and we encourage you to watch them all (we have links to all the panel in the show notes for episode 72, over at TheTopicIsTrek.com), it was, naturally, the “Star Trek Universe” panel that demanded the most attention.
Did we learn more about “Strange New Worlds”?
Main Mission
Now, something that hasn’t happened in — months. The premier of a new Star Trek series. Namely, “Star Trek: Lower Decks,” which premiered on CBS All Access on Thursday, August 6th. The series will debut episodes on a weekly basis. So, in this episode we will speak about the pilot, episode one, entitled, appropriately enough “Second Contact.”
Warp Speed Round Table
This time around…
With “Star Trek’s” rebirth on the small screen, there has been debate on whether new installments should always move forward in the Federation timeline, like TNG, Deep Space Nine and Voyager did, precede known events, like Enterprise, or fill in the gaps, like Strange New Worlds will do. Given the choice, do you have a preference?
Time to refill the dilithium chamber and try to warp on out of here.
